Maria Pereira, well is better if you call her Mary,  is 15 year old Acton Academy student. With many dreams like you all have and with many problems as well. Pereira was a very messy person well kind of is right now, but she’s been improving since. At younger age she was unclear on what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, it started with being a professional soccer player but then made a huge twist by changing subject to being a pop star. I believe everyone wanted to be pop star somewhere in there lives. But then made her final decision on becoming a fashion designer. I know, a very serious career to think about at this young age but that was what she wanted. Her accomplishments in her carrier are pretty much insignificant for some of you that maybe have a degree by now but for her are very important at this stage of her journey. Mary got the opportunity to work as an intern at Saul e Mendez  for a whole week non stop. Learning from people with experience on the fashion business. She dressed mannequins from head to toe from her own personal style combined with the company’s as well. Pereira claims that if it wasn’t from this experience she wouldn’t have had the opportunities to participate in other important events. She got a job as a dresser at the fashion show Boho her first real runway backstage job. With amateur models but at the same time way ahead of her experience. And after that she worked at the Vintage Box fashion show as the assistant of the main fashion designer. The only difference was that she was working with well experience runway models. Where she met Isabella Vasquez a well recognize model here in Guatemala. They are both looking forward on working together. But she isn’t always in the fashion business but likes to have fun with her friends. Like going out to a party or just walking around a mall (Window Shopping.) Don’t hesitate to contact her, she is always looking forward to meeting new people and give life advice even though she hasn’t lived much. And just a tip: be yourself, dress the way you feel comfortable but with a classy or elegant piece, and add an interesting quote about Coco Chanel or Carolina Herrera. And I am sure you two are going to be good friends.
